Exhibits & Community displays

I stay active display work in the local downtown art walks in both Pittsburg, KS and Joplin, MO.  I am currently involved in the SEK Art Fest, as a featured and selected artist particapting in the Coal Bucket, Football and Animal exhibit. I have a mural on 5th and Broadway in downtown Pittburg, KS. I have artwork published online and in books. Below are just a few of the exhibits and displays throughout the community. In 2014-2015 I was one of five artist to paint a mural in sections on a downtown wall on 5th and Broadway in Pittburg, KS. My mural is at the end leading viewers to the shops downtown.

In 2012, my work along with other local art teachers entered their work in the exhibit called "Inspiring Voices". 

Rhythm N' Hues is a Jazz and Art event that takes place once a year at Carl Junction. We display both student work K-12 and encourage local artists in the community to display their works of art. Along with the art, guests will hear local jazz bands from the 4-State area.

From 2009 to 2015, every 3rd Thursday Downtown Joplin wouold host a huge art walk with over 450 attendees. I was an artist who would display artwork along with my students at the Cell Phone Medics. 

In 2012, I my work was published through a community project promoting the idea of unity and a reflection of the Joplin community and the rebuilding process. After the exhibit, my artwork was published. This is the 3rd time I have had my work published in a book.

2012, 2014, 2016 and 2018SEK Art Fest selected artists to paint public fiberglass sculptures. Artist had to submit idea, design and concept before being selected. I was selected for the coal bucket, football, animal and for the currently working on the SEK Art Fest bench project. (not currently pictured)
